SpaceStudio is Space Codesign’s development environment which is based on Eclipse, for creating systems architectures, exploring their hardware/software mapping and simulating different design trade-offs for analysis before creating any physical platform. The design mechanisms offered in SpaceStudio enable early SW development, facilitate the modeling of processor-based embedded systems, handle embedded software complexity, and let users explore hardware/software systems.
Virtual platforms allow system simulation and analysis at a higher level of abstraction, at the transactional level (TLM), which quickly lets users validate their applications under design with real platform performance results that can be graphically analyzed. Your design cycle can be dramatically shortened.
The path to silicon is provided by our system integration environment, where we offer architecture creation accelerator tools that enable you to become more efficient with (e.g.) Xilinx tools, such as EDK, XPS or ISE. You can configure your virtual hardware and along with your software platforms, even multiprocessor configurations, synthesize them in just a few mouse clicks. Our physical solution to implementation (such as for FPGA) is just one of our differentiating advantages for our users!
